“People tell me I have ‘Resting Bitch Face’. When they tell me that, I look them right in the eye and say, ‘Yes, this is my face, I’m a bitch, and all I ever want to do is rest’. I find it easier to accept the things I can’t change and never take myself too seriously. I have fun in life, even if people think my face tells a different story.”

“I’m studying abroad here from London. For Halloween I was a British soldier from the American Revolution. You call them ‘Red Coats’. I was on my way to Bell In Hand when I noticed I had a group of people following me, taking pictures. Then, I realized I was on your ‘Freedom Trail’ and they must’ve thought I was a tour guide in costume. So, I took a few pictures with them and proclaimed my fealty to King George, then promptly got legless on a few Sam Adam’s Boston Lagers.”

“I went to my best friend’s birthday today. It was cat themed. She’s always wishing she was someone else. I want her to just be happy with who she is. She’s never allowed herself to have a boyfriend, and I think it’s because she doesn’t really love herself. I love her though. Sometimes at night, I find myself wishing she gave me a chance. I wish I could save her, in a way. But my mom once told me you can never love someone into change, you can only wait for them to take the steps themselves. I know she’s right, but I also know how I feel about my friend. I’m willing to wait as long as it takes.”

“‘Good Will Hunting’ is definitely my favorite movie. When I first saw it, I didn’t want to be the sought-after, genius titular character, but rather the scrappy, yet brilliant in his own right, therapist Sean McGuire. He was played by the late, great Robin Williams. Robin inspired me to get into acting. As a way to clear my thoughts sometimes, I come to the Public Garden and sit on the bench from the movie. It gives me focus, whether I’m diving into a new character or figuring out why my kid likes to eat his own poop. Robin once said, ‘You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it’. I’m hoping the kid loses this particular spark though.”

“People tell me I have a larger-than-life personality. You could say they’re right. I just love living life, and it’s not my fault I do it so well. Look, I’m a good boy, I’ll give you some money if you’re down, but damn, you better work for it. I have my own woman to take care of and I’m not about to let you bring me down to your level. So grab a towel and start buffing out my Benz. If you do a good job, I’ll throw you a bone. I’m good for it. That’s just the right way to treat a man.”
